What it is
The type gate: every file is typed in strict mode. `tsc --noEmit` runs in GitHub Actions on every push and pull request, and locally before a release.
What it does for your business
For your business it means the class of mistake that breaks a checkout form at the worst moment is caught before a deploy, in private, instead of in front of a customer.
Why it earns its place
The class of mistake that breaks a checkout or a portal often lines up in the type system before it reaches a browser. A type check is cheaper than a client finding it.
The type checker runs in GitHub Actions on every push and pull request, and locally before a release. Red code does not merge.

GitHub ActionsThe last release ran `tsc --noEmit` and the production build with zero errors. GitHub Actions now runs the same check on every push and pull request.
How it runs here
The repository runs TypeScript with strict checks. `tsc --noEmit` runs in GitHub Actions on every push and pull request, and locally before a release; the production build also type-checks.
A TYPE THAT TRAVELS
TSexport type Tool = { slug: string; name: string; tag: string;}; export function toolBySlug(slug: string): Tool | undefined { return TOOLS.find((tool) => tool.slug === slug);}When it runs
Every change, before the production build. A red type check is not a warning.
Who owns it
Build writes the types. QA runs the check. The operator sees the release statement, not the compiler output.
What it does not claim
Types catch structural mistakes, not false copy, a bad price or a missed legal requirement. The claims ledger and a human read cover those.
THE REFERENCE
The manual above is ours. The vendor's reference is the place to check an API, a version or a limit.
